Alexander Alexeenko - 14.03.20

On February 5, 1971, a boy was born in the family of professional bridge player Gail Greenberg. The boy received the name Michael Brad Moss. His mother, Cail, was well known under the name Gail Shane, Gail Moss, and Gail Moss Greenberg. In 2014, Gali took 40th place, based on the ranking of points that do not disappear over time. Before the championship in Europe (which took place in the summer months and October), she was one of 73 participants-grandmasters.

She was married to Steve Shane, Mike Moss and Jack Greenberg. Her children are daughter and son, Jill Levin and Brad Moss. All members of her family, kids and husbands are famous bridge players.

Greenberg took participation every three year in North American Bridge Championships. In total, during her career, starting in 1966, she won 17 competitions with national status. She was on the first place in five world championships as a part of USA women teams. Gail Greenberg was honored to be performed to the ACBL Hall of Fame as a receiver of the von Zedtwitz Award.

It is not at all surprising that a special atmosphere has developed in the family of a brilliant talented bridge player. Husband and wife at a family dinner certainly discussed past and upcoming tournaments, the strengths and weaknesses of their future rivals. Probably, special “tournaments” took place between husband and wife, where they shared their methods and secrets.

Children, from early childhood, were in an atmosphere that strongly encouraged them to play bridge. Now no one can tell for certain at what age the children took playing cards in their hands and who taught them the first lesson of the game. Perhaps Brad Moss became interested in the game, having first read Agatha Christie's book “Cards on the Table”, bought at the Scholastic Book Fair and, inspired by the combination of the game, he picked up the cards in his hands. Unfortunately, at the moment there is no official biography of the player, so they prefer to talk about him, only based on his income. let's remember his path to success.

3. Private life

The personal life of Brad Moss is covered in darkness and a veil of secrecy. Brad says that, preparing for the tournament, he accumulates energy, reaches maximum concentration. After he wins, he dumps this energy and prepares for the next contest. He appreciates rivals who know how to play the game and enjoy the process, smile and joke, no matter what the outcome of the game. No matter what the outcome of the game you have today, tomorrow everything can change dramatically.

Brad Moss always speaks respectfully of his teammates, stresses that they are one team and they are doing a great job. The player says that he has developed his own system, which he adheres to during the game and which allows him to win. Before taking cards from the table, before he tried to figure out combinations, now he prefers to indulge in chance. Despite the fact that many rivals sometimes behave extremely aggressively and show dissatisfaction during the game, Moss does not knocked down and does not interfere with concentration.

Brad Moss’s marital status is a not mystery. The player has a wife, named Jennifer. There are two kids in a family: a daughter, Lyra and a son, Cian. As Brad Moss says, his children are the center of his universe. The family lives harmoniously and amicably, they give the player the necessary support in games and in everyday life . But how can three different in character people balance him, with irony says Brad Moss.
